What makes us special?

From the very beginning, we held certain beliefs in the way that we create our pizzas, and everything we have done to this point has served to soldify those beliefs. We popped into existence because of the pizza vacuum that we perceived all around us. Actually, more accurately, Dalia just got sick of hearing us say how much better our pizza was than anything that could be found at the time in Bali (and it still is), that she called up a bunch of her friends and convinced them to order for the next day. Ester and I then had 24 hours to figure out the production.

Each week the number of orders grew, until Tuesdays were fully booked. So we started taking orders for other days too, until it became clear that we couldn't do it from home anymore.  At no point though have we ever, or will we ever, compromise what makes our pizzas so special. We see the following aspects as central to our success;

Quality

It’s an old saying that there is no substitute for quality, and, at TNPC, we live by that dictum. We never cut corners or sacrifice anything for our ultimate goal of truly delicious pizzas, pastas and salads. Every pizza is made with the same loving care that was instilled into our first pies, and our attention to what makes our pizzas great has never waned.

Choice

From the very beginning, the aim of TNPC has been to give each and every customer the one thing they want most: choice. With 20 standard pizzas (soon to be expanded to 24), over 40 toppings, 3 available sauces (tomato, pesto and peanut) and 5 distinct sizes catering to every size of appetite, TNPC offers pizzas of the greatest variety of almost anywhere in the world. And our statistics show that our clients truly appreciate this; whilst some pizzas are undeniably more popular, there is not a single pizza that doesn’t merit continued inclusion.

We also recognize that man cannot live on pizza alone, so we have, for some time, worked on expanding our menu to include a wide range of pastas and salads to supplement our menu.

Flavor


The Tuesday Night Pizza Club started as a ‘from Mama’s Kitchen’ kind of pizza, and we’ve never changed the way we make our pizzas. Flavour was the driving force at the beginning, and continues to be so to this today. From the hand-made base up, every layer of a TNPC pizza is evident in every bite. Only the freshest ingredients are used at all stages, and only the best quality toppings.

Consistency


Nothing alienates a potential repeating customer quicker than a lack of consistency, whether it be of flavour, of standard or even of the amount of pepperoni. That is why at TNPC we have such stringent systems in place to guarantee that every bite of any given pizza is as delicious and dependable as humanly possible. Every ingredient is weighed and measured every single time according to our recipes so that the customer knows and can expect the pizza they desire, bite after bite, time after time.

Originality


In an encyclopedia of pizzology, TNPC pizzas almost defy definition - they are not Italian, nor New York style nor Chicago. They are neither traditional nor modern, neither basic nor extravagant. They are not pale imitations of a pizza that we have eaten somewhere else. Rather they were born out of simple curiosity and a certain naïveté, almost an experiment in the art. We followed no guidelines in their creation, adhered to no set recipe, but set about making pizzas that we ourselves loved to eat, and still, to this day, continue to do so.

Thin & Crispy

From the very first night that we rolled out the dough, we figured that people didn’t buy pizza for the bread. A pizza should be about flavour and taste, texture and goodness. The base of our pizzas is just that: a base, a starting point, a foundation. To us, it should never dominate the pizza, as it does with many other commercial pizzas. Using an traditional recipe, our dough may be considered delicious in it’s own right
